He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Eaton Perian.
Survivors include his father, Wilbert Perian of Benton; sisters: Janice Perian of Benton, Debra Ann Simmonds of Cleveland, Una Mae Rogers of Chattanooga and Ashely Williams of Old Fort; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Dugan officiating.
Interment will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
