Muriel Quinn originally formed the support group as a means for parents to support their sons and daughters. Her son is a U.S. Marine deployed to Afghanistan.
The group has sent 40 boxes of toiletries and sundry items to individual soldiers, sailors and Marines since it was formed four months ago.
