Shirley Elizabeth Frazier, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday March 15, 2011, at the family residence.

She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and friends. She retired after 30 years of employment with Duracell.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Jenkins Corvin; sister, Charlotte Waters; brother, Lake Corvin; special cousin, Toy Lee; and the love of her life, Dewayne McTaggart.

Survivors include her daughters: Karen Vassey and husband, David, and Tracey Hardin and husband, David, all of Cleveland; son, Rodney Frazier and wife, Angel, of Cookeville; grandchildren: Tani Still, Heather Hardin, Jansen Vassey and Kelsey Vassey, all of Cleveland, Jenner Hardin and Sara Hardin, both of Oklahoma City, Okla., Bradley Frazier, Tia Frazier and Christopher Frazier, all of Cookeville; great-grandchildren: Cooper Still, Aiden Hardin and Quentin Frazier; sisters: Sue Brown and husband, Don, Martha Swafford and husband, Clifford, Twyla McAmis and husband, Kenneth, Jo Musselwhite and husband, Jimmy, Evelyn DeFriese and husband, Don, brothers: Carly Corvin and Ray Corvin and wife, Mary; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Chaplain Don Sapp officiating.

Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Benton Memorial Gardens.

A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
