She is preceded in death by her mother, Connie Babb “Roxie” Peavey; and her sisters: Kathy Denney and Evelyn Howard.
She enjoyed watching TV and taking care of people.
She was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Survivors include her father, Harold Sparkman Sr. and his wife, Shirley, of Gaston, Ala.; her companion, Joey Dixon of Cleveland; two brothers: Harold Luther Sparkman Jr. of Cleveland and Chad Edward Sparkman of Alabama; sister, Stacey Sparkman of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. today, March, 17, 2011, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Ron Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service time at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
