SOME $82,000 was donated in Bradley County to various programs through the Procter and Gamble Live, Learn and Thrive Grant Program. Bill Barkley, plant manager, presented check to various groups. Among those receiving the grants were Brenda Abel accepting for United Way, Lake Forest representative, Sandy Moore for Junior Achievement, Rodney Murray for YMCA, Amy Hicks for Helping Hands and Healing Hearts, Gary Farlow for Chamber of Commerce, Greg Passmore for Candle Lighters, Desmond Washington and Daniel P. Burrell for BICC; and Charlie Sutton for Boys and Girls Clubs. Oak Grove Elementary, Duracell’s Adopt-a-School also received a check.
