Jason Duncan was elected the 2011 national president at the National Ruritan Convention in Knoxville in January. From Pine Hill, N.C.., he and his wife, Gail, stopped in Cleveland on his way to Louisiana and Mississippi. He stopped to speak with Cherokee District Ruritan members and Danny Coggins, principal of Walker Valley High School, who is representing WVHS’s Ruri-teen Club. From left are WW Johnson, growth and development chairman for the Cherokee District; Joyce Johnson, district treasurer and leadership development trainer; and Linda Melton, Cherokee District governor for 2011.
