THE AIRMEN OF NOTE, the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force, performed Sunday afternoon to a packed audience in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the Cleveland State Community College campus. “The Note,” as the group is also called, provided a unique big band sound to Cleveland and Bradley County residents on the opening day of the spring season.
