Nancy Elizabeth Leonard Williams, 70, a resident of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia “Betty” Gross Leonard and Charles S. Leonard; husband, Roland “Les” Williams; grandparents: Charles and Blanche Leonard and Julies Seaman and Esther Seaman Gross; granddaughter: Lindsey Dawn Akins; and stepson: Brett Williams.

She was retired from Taylor Elementary School after 30 years as an administrative assistant.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Williams of Nashville; granddaughters: Alissa Drew Polezhaev, Courtney Segraves, Eli Williams, and Ethan Williams; great-grandchildren: Aiden Polezhaev, Roman Polezhaev and Emory Smith; stepdaughter, Linda Loveday of Melbourne, Fla.; stepsons: Keith Williams of Melbourne and Wayne Williams of Roswell, Ga.; sister, Jane Williams of Pikeville; brothers: Charles “Bobby” Leonard of Cookeville and Donald Leonard of Crossville; and several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at the North Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Joe Johnson officiating.

Entombment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Charles Bobby Leonard, Donald Leonard, Travis Mull, Viktor Polezhaev, Howard Thompson, and Troy Weathers serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today and 6 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.
