Carl Allen Crowson, 64, of Ooltewah passed away on March 24, 2011.

He was born in Plaquemine, La., on May 30, 1946. He graduated from Ooltewah High School in 1965.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Roland Crowson; and his mother, Hyacinth Peavy Crowson.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Crowson, who he married April 11, 1992; siblings: Billie Howell, Glen Crowson, Gene Crowson, Jim Crowson, and Michael Crowson; daughters: Belinda Crowson Fleming and Rhonda Crowson Johnson; grandchildren: Sharon Dobbins, Ashley Dobbins Wright, Amber Johnson,Colby Pierce, Abigail Pierce, Ameila Pierce, Zadie Fleming, Hap Allen Fleming, Tyler Milsap and Torie Milsap; and great-grandchildren: Brayden Dobbins and Hunter Wright.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the home of Carl Crowson in his orchard at 5577 Tallent Road inOoltewah.
