The No. 18 Lady Flames (7-3, 2-1 SSAC) had very little trouble taking care of the Lady Lions (4-11, 0-4 SSAC).
Lee claimed the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches with matching 8-0 scores, while Kelsey Gray and Emily Orist defeated Christianne Tetley and Molly Smith, 8-3.
The Lady Flames were just as dominant in singles as they were in doubles action. The closest score in any of the sets was Annie Sandberg’s second set against Smith, 6-4. Sandberg posted a two-set win, 6-1 and 6-4.
Gray surrendered three games in recording a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Orist won her first set 6-2, before blanking Olivia Gish 6-0 for the win.
Sara Anic and Tarah Garner dropped just one game each and Kassidy Sherlin shut out Jaclyn Klerk.

The Lee University men’s tennis team won its Southern States Athletic Conference opener with a 9-0 pasting of Emmanuel College (3-9, 0-2 SSAC) Saturday afternoon at the DeVos Tennis Courts.
The No. 22-ranked Flames (3-4, 1-0 SSAC) claimed an 8-4 win by Michael Yokosuk and Richard Gamble at No. 1 doubles and an 8-0 win by Renan Molineiro and Zach Smith in the second slot.
Following a forfeit win at No. 3 doubles, Lee held a commanding 3-0 lead.
The Flames won five of the six singles matches in straight sets with the sixth coming from a forfeit.
Yokosuk outlasted Pavel Zinchenko in the first set, 6-4, and carried the momentum over to win the second set, 6-2.
Gamble and Marcelo Martinelli dropped just three games in their wins, while Renan Molineiro and Zach Smith surrendered two games each.
