Michigan Avenue announces winners of the March Madness reading competition

first-grade teacher Missy Welch is pictured with her students who recently won the grand prize in their division for the annual Accelerated Reader March Madness competition at Michigan Avenue School. Students in the first-grade class accumulated over 600 points for the month of March to “take home” the trophy and a special treat.
