BLACK FOX ELEMENTARY fifth-grade students, from left, Brooklyn Armstrong, Brenna Rigdon, Missy Abbott and Haley Jones received recognition during the class’ DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) graduation. The three submitted the best essays on what they learned from DARE. Brooklyn received the “Spirit of DARE” award and a new bicycle compliments of businesswoman Brenda Lawson. The DARE program lasted nine weeks, and concluded the awarding of certificates at a graduation ceremony conducted at the school.
