She was the daughter of the late Horace Beaty and Mary Palmer Beaty. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Beaty Hickman; infant sister, Georgia Lee Beaty; brothers: Melvin Beaty; Paul Beaty and Warner Beaty; brother-in-law, Clyde Hickman; and sisters-in-law: Jessie Faye Beaty and Mildred Beaty.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret Beaty of Cleveland; brothers: Varnell Beaty of Charleston and David Beaty and his wife, Mary Bell Beaty, of Cleveland; sisters-in-law: Jean Beaty and Wanda Faye Beaty, both of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews, including her great-niece, Katherine Beaty.
A Remembrance of Life graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. April 16, 2011, at Lee Cemetery on White Oak Valley Road with the Rev. Johnny Hood officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mark Beaty, Daniel Beaty, Eddie Beaty, Gary Beaty, James Beaty and Marvin Hickman.
