William Harold Booth, 38, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at his residence.

He was the deli assistant at BI-LO for more than 15 years and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

He had many interests, including Bible prophecy, astronomy, politics, football, computers, and history. He demonstrated his love for the Lord through his gentle spirit and compassionate acts of kindness, many of which were unknown and uncelebrated here on this Earth. He loved his family and was willing to do anything he could to help someone.

Uncle Bill had a very special place in his heart for his nieces and loved spending time with and spoiling them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Peggy Booth; grandparents, Harle and Addie Lawson, and Denver and Hester Booth; and cousins: Scott Seitz and Philip Lawson.

He is survived by his brother, Richard Booth and wife, Rhonda, of Benton; and his sister, Dorothy Beavers and husband, Michael, and their daughters: Emma, Sarah and Lauren, all of Cleveland.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011, at 7 p.m. at North Cleveland Baptist Church with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Fike Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
