Mardi Gras event raises funds for Rotary projects

The Rotary of Cleveland recently held a Festive Mardi Gras at the Museum Center at Five Points. The event included a catered Cajun meal by Greg Hicks of Impressions Catering and an auction.

Co-chairing the auction were Paul McCord and Julia Scoggins. They were assisted by an auction committee composed of Ross Tarver, Jordia Waller, Lisa Simpson-Lutts, Sharon Marr, Carolyn Ingram, Hazel Key, David Carroll, Sheryl Jaggers and Tommy Arrendale.

The sold-out event brought in more than $27,000 for the Rotary Club of Cleveland’s benevolent projects and the Cleveland Rotary Foundation. David Carroll served as auctioneer.

Gold-level sponsors were Brown Stove Works Inc., Harrison and Matthew Brown.
