The CSCC Service-Learning team held an appreciation reception to honor community partners, faculty, staff, and students for their 2010-11 contributions and support. Rigo Sirin-Pichiya was honored by the CSCC Service-Learning team and Washington Campus Compact for his participation and success in the Students in Service Awards competition. Rigo was selected as Fan Favorite and received a $2,500 scholarship. Nancy Thomas, assistant nursing professor, was honored by the CSCC Service-Learning team for her dedicated support of Rigo as he progressed through the Students in Service Awards competition.
