The rear-end collision injured the driver of the pickup, according to reports.
The crash occurred just minutes before 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Both vehicles were headed inbound toward the city of Charleston.
911 transmissions indicated the driver of the pickup suffered cuts to the rear of his head.
Bradley County Sheriff's Office, Bradley County Emergency Medical Service and Bradley County Fire Department responded to the crash.
n An automatic alarm was answered by Bradley County Fire Department firemen this morning.
According to 911 reports, firemen rushed to Walker Valley High School at 6:30 a.m. in reference to the alarm.
911 reports noted cafeteria officials had been warming up cooking appliances, apparently setting off the alarm. The area was evacuated until firemen arrived and made sure all was secure.
n Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Osment Road.
According to Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper Joe Snipes, the two were transported to SkyRidge Medical Center, where they were treated and expected to be released.
The crash reportedly occurred after the driver ran off the edge of the roadway, overcorrected and went into a ditch.
Snipes said indications were the car flipped before hitting a tree.
Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Bradley County Fire Department and Bradley County Emergency Medical Service responded to the scene to aid the victims.
Snipes is in charge of the crash investigation.
