Kandice “Kandy” Satterfield, 40, a resident of the Blue Springs Community in Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the family residence.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Kilgore.

She enjoyed working with crafts, including sewing. She enjoyed being a mother and taking care of her children. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas “Doug” Satterfield; daughters: Elizabeth Satterfield and Sarah Satterfield; sons: Lance Satterfield and Jacob Satterfield; mother, Ann Sargent Smith and her husband, Ernest; father, John Wesley Kilgore, all of Cleveland; maternal grandfather, Henry Sargent of Alabama; sisters: Ramona Wattenbarger and her husband, Wayne, of Nashville, Tammy Kilgore of Cleveland and Krystal Kilgore of Benton; brother, Jimmy Kilgore of Cleveland; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, from the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Donald Weaver officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ironsburg Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
