Evelyn Marie Johnson, 56, went to meet her Lord and Savior on April 27, 2011, during the devastating tornadoes.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed gardening and caring for others. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She worked at Rhodes Storage in Ooltewah as the office manager.

She spent the past 25 years dedicated to her job with Butch and Louise Moore of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Ina Prince; and her brother, Joe Prince.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Johnson, of Cleveland; daughter, Rhonda (Crook) Davenport of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Chastity Pell of Chatsworth, Ga.; son, Brent Pell of Cleveland; granddaughters: Preslie and Peyton Pell of Chatsworth and Haylee Pell of Cleveland; stepson and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christina Johnson; stepgrandchildren: Donahvan, Abby and Alex Johnson of Cleveland; sisters: Emma Blevins of Dalton, Ga., Priscilla and Steve Sudduth of Villa Rica, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sharon Prince of Old Fort; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Wesley Choplin and Pastors Charles and Margie Poteat officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

Tommy Prince, Michael Johnson, Ron Hembree, Randy Porter, Terry Longwith and Thomas Jones will serve as pallbearers. Buddy Keller and Eric Hembree will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
