Earl “Dynamite” Riddle, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away April 29, 2010, at the residence.

He was the son of the late Linnie Hitson Riddle and James Paul Riddle. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Mildred Helton; and his brothers: Randall, Vernon and Clifford Dillard.

He attended Bradley Central High School, where he played quarterback on the football team and earned the nickname “Dynamite.”

He was a veteran of World War II, during which he served with the United States Army and also Merchant Marines.

He enjoyed fishing, sports and collecting sports cards. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his two brothers: John Riddle and his wife, Mary, of Hampton, Ga., and James Riddle and his wife, Georgia, of Kokomo, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.

Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel, is in charge of the Cremation Services.
