Charter crews are hard at work to restore service to residential and business customers in Cleveland following a tornado outbreak that impacted the area April 27.

“Charter feels deeply for the families who have lost property and suffered personal injury as a result of these storms,” said Aimee Pfannenstiel, vice president and general manager of Charter’s operations in Tennessee.

“Our crews are working day and night to restore service to our customers, and progress is being made. We are in constant communication with the power companies and are following their restoration path as closely as possible.”

Pfannenstiel said as a safety precaution, Charter crews cannot access an area prior to power lines being repaired.

“We appreciate the massive challenge for all service providers and will continue to work until all areas are restored,” Pfannenstiel said. “We thank all of our customers for their patience.”

Pfannenstiel said Charter customers can call 1-888-438-2427 with service-related questions or visit their local Charter Sales and Service Center at 1235 King St., S.E., Cleveland, TN 37323.

“Everyone at Charter – from our dispatchers and construction workers to our customer care representatives and engineers – stand with Cleveland as it works to recover following this devastating storm,” Pfannenstiel said.

“Charter employees also live and work throughout this area. We all are committed to restoring services to every customer as quickly and safely as possible.”
