She was of the Church of Christ faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Cordia Kirkpatrick; husband, Ernest Boyd Morgan; son, Ernest Raymond Morgan; brother, Vernon L. Kirkpatrick; and sister, Vesta June Estes.
She is survived by her grandsons: Joseph Ray Morgan and Oscar Nathaniel Morgan; sister, Virginia Lee Walker and husband, Kenneth E. Walker, all of McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011, in Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Riceville, with Pastor Ronnie Bishop officiating.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
