Margaret Faye West, 86, a resident of Hendersonville, and formerly of Cleveland passed away Wednesday morning, May 4, 2011, in Hendersonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Florence Johnson Tippens and Vernon Tippens; her husband, J. R. West; a daughter, Darlene Little; brothers: Arnold Tippens, Jim Tippens, Ray Tippens; and her sisters: Ruby Fox and Buncie Grubb.

She was retired from Maytag as a timekeeper with 40 years of employment.

Survivors include one son, David McKenzie and his wife, Beverly, of Gallatin; three grandchildren: Chad McKenzie, Shane McKenzie, and Josh McKenzie and his wife, Tiffany; five great-grandchildren: Franklin McKenzie, Campbell McKenzie, Jackson McKenzie, Braxton McKenzie and Brooklyn McKenzie; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 9, 2011, from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at 1 p.m. from the Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel with the Rev. Michael Riggs officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Gary Conner, George Nerren, Chad McKenzie, Josh McKenzie, Shane McKenzie, Mike Renner and Michael Branch serving as pallbearers.
