He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Benton Station Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Duggan.
He is survived by his mother, Stella Bradford Duggan of Benton; daughters: Tammy King and husband, Wendel, of Benton and Ann Duggan Pryor, Candi Gentry and husband, Daniel, and Lacey Duggan, all of Cleveland; wife, Sharon Duggan; grandchildren, Sadie Farmer of Benton and Landon Pryor, Taylor Yoder, Jaxson Gentry and Cameron Shelton, all of Cleveland; brother, Don Duggan and wife, Wanda, of Benton; sister, Carolyn Evans of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Jenkins and the Rev. Joe Hatcher officiating.
Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens with military honors.
A white dove release will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
