Rachel Elizabeth Boltniew will graduate as valedictorian and Rebecca Jean Garrett will graduate as salutatorian.
Boltniew is the daughter of Victor and Karen Boltniew. She has participated in show choir, student council, jazz choir, Tri-M and the SSNC club. Throughout high school she has won numerous awards, including Principal’s Award, Wacker Scholarship and Rhymer Bronze Scholar.
She has served as historian for the Bradley Central Bachelorettes, student body vice president, show choir president, and Alto Section leader.
She was named Junior Miss First-Runner up as well as Scholastic Award Winner and Spirit of Junior Miss. She was also named Miss BCHS.
Boltniew has also been a Girls’ State Delegate.
After graduation Boltniew plans to attend Lee University as an undecided major.
Garrett is the daughter of Jeff and Linda Garrett.
She has participated in the tennis and volleyball programs at Bradley, making the all-district tennis team in 2009, all-tournament volleyball in 2009 and all-district volleyball in 2010. She was also the volleyball team captain.
Garrett has served as Bachelorettes’ president, election commission president, FCA huddle leader and on the National Honor Society.
She has also participated in the Beta and DECA.
After graduation she plans to attend Lee University. Garrett is considering becoming a high school teacher.
