The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Melvin and Ruth Lands, and the late Noel (Frank) and Evelyn Fouts. She is the sister of James Lands Jr. and David Lands, both of Dalton, Ga.
Miss Lands is a graduate of Murray County High School. She is employed by Dobbs Mills Inc.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Charles (Bill) and Mary Ruth; and Barbara Prince, all of Cleveland, and the late Ronald Prince. He is the brother of Jessica Ruth of Nashville and Samuel Ruth of Cleveland.
Mr. Ruth is a graduate of Polk County High School. He is employed by Industrial Valves.
