Sue Borders, 62, of Cleveland, passed away, Saturday, May 14, 2011, at her home.

She loved interior decorating and was an avid antique collector. She was loved by all her family and friends and she will be deeply missed.

She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her father, Forrest Cross; and her mother-in-law, Grace Borders.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Borders; daughter, Natalie Koziol of Franklin; sons: Slade Hill and John (Bucky) Borders and wife, Heather, all of Cleveland; mother, Willie Mac Cross of Gainesville, Fla.; father-in-law, John Borders; grandchildren: Stella Borders of Wilson, N.C., and Sofia and Ava Koziol of Franklin; sisters: Carol Koogler and husband, John, of Gainesville, Fla., Betty Brown and husband, Harry, of Attapulgus, Ga., Millie Eldridge of Tallahassee, Fla.; husband’s family: Birch and Kathy Bishop, Patsy Curtis, Lisa Borders, Ron and Peggy Borders and Bo and Amy Borders, all of Cleveland; nieces and nephews: Wesley Elderidge, John Koogler Jr., Kelly Koogler, Victor Vann and Terri Lee McNiel.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitchell Malony officiating.

Scotty Hannah, Steve Hixson, Bill Varnell, Benny Monroe and John Homan will serve as honorary pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
