He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Hume Coblentz and Harold Coblentz.
He was a retired case manager for the Bradley County Juvenile Department. He graduated Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor of science degree.
He was a veteran in the Navy, who served in Vietnam.
He was a member at St. Therese Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Babor Coblentz of Cleveland; one son, Clifford Eugene Colbentz and his, wife Melissa; grandson, Alexander Daniel Coblentz; granddaughter, Marilyn Adele; brother, Charles Coblentz and his wife, Connie, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Monday, May 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. from St. Therese Catholic Church with Father Antonio Giraldo officiating.
Interment will follow in the Flint Springs Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today from the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
