Joshawa E. Keihl, 19, a resident of Charleston, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011, in a Chattanooga Hospital.

He was a 2010 graduate of Walker Valley High School, where he played on the varsity football team. At the time of his death he was employed with the Merck Corp.

He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his parents, Sheri and Luke Watts of Charleston; brother, Jessop Watts of Cleveland; sisters: Amberlyn Keihl of Athens and Katelynn Keihl of Charleston; maternal grandparents: Roger and Sheryel Ewing of Pinellas Park, Fla.; paternal grandparents: Lois Murphy of Canfield, Mo., and Kathy Carter Gutierrez of Pinellas Park; aunts and uncles: Roger and Stephanie Ewing of Georgetown, Scott Ewing of Pinellas Park, Matthew and Didi Ewing of Tampa, Fla., Wendy and Dean Dyer and April Brown all of Buckingham, Ill.; special friend, Chelsea Chastain of Cleveland; and several cousins.

The Remembrance of Life Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, from Westmore Church of God with the Rev. Robert Green officiating.

The North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of arrangements.
