The program will be presented Thursday for residents of the area who may be interested in establishing a watch system.
Sheriff Jim Ruth and Lt. Bob Hancock will present the program as well as provide other information.

• Deputy Michael Westfield of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office filed a report regarding missing roofing materials.
According to his report, Janet Burgner of Kiosk Creations reported the theft of 50 pieces of steel or tin roofing material from the Old Tasso Place facility.
The material was taken from the rear of the building and was to be used to repair the roof.
According to Burgner, the material was valued at $2,800.
• Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting Driver’s License Roadside Safety Checkpoints in Bradley County during the weekend. Also, enhanced efforts by the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office will be evident as well regarding speeding and those who may drive under the influence or commit other traffic infractions.
Lt. W.G. Campbell said the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit will be out in force to help save lives during the Memorial Day weekend, which officially begins Friday.
Regarding THP efforts, checkpoints will be placed randomly in the county and will be contingent upon manpower availability and weather conditions.
