He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 19, 1933, to the late Lottie and George Kneier.
He graduated from Middlefield High School, Middlefield, Ohio.
He served with the U.S. Air Force and retired as owner of Webster Motors. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Juanita Myers Kneier; sons: Jack Jr. (Robin) and Matthew; daughters: Kimberly and Teresa; special friend, Randy Lacy; grandchildren: Nate and Caitlin Caldwell and Payton Kneier; brother, George (Helen); sisters: Margaret (Tom), Donna (Don) and Mary Anne; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011, at Gentry-Griffey with the funeral to follow.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends are asked to assemble at Gentry-Griffey at 10:40 a.m. to proceed to the cemetery.
The service will conclude with full military honors and a full dove release.
