The Bradley County Radio Control Model Aircraft Club will be holding its annual War Bird Fly event Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. for a day of family fun. Military aircraft from all eras will be flown and exhibited. Refreshments will be available and there will be no admission charge. Follow Highway 60 to Georgetown, turn right on Francisco Road and watch for signs.

The retired ministers and widows of the Cleveland Chattanooga area will meet at 10 a.m. June 7 at the Ooltewah Church of God. The guest speaker will be Esmeralda Lee, executive director of Life Care at the Garden Plaza. Following the service a covered dish meal will be served in the church fellowship hall.

Woodmen of the World Lodge No. 16 will meet Saturday at 199 Thompson Spring Road S.E. Breakfast will be at 9 a.m. and the meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the lodge.

The pancake breakfast at Oak Grove Ruritan Club that was postponed because of the tornado has been rescheduled for June 4 from 6 to 11 a.m.
