The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Everett Skelton. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Cody Welder.
The wedding ceremony was performed by the Rev. Roger K. Thompson. Nuptial music was provided by Abigail Millwood, soloist; Cahaba River Strings, musicians; David Bailey, trumpeter; and Rhonda Robinson, organist. Scripture was read by Kelley Coats Newell.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her sister, Kimberly Skelton Woodall, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Katy Carlson Beene of Birmingham, Ala., Laura Elizabeth Hester of Montgomery, Ala., Lauren Brooke Hicks of Atlanta, Courtney Leigh McEwen of Kansas City, Mo., Kelley Coats Newell of Hope Hull, Ala., Laura Catherine Odom of Gadsden and Kelly Welder Parsard of Miami.
The bridegroom’s father served as his best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Travis Gott of Columbia, S.C., Raymond Limas and Jordan Panich, both of Memphis, Thomas Peterson and Aaron Sayers, both of Knoxville, Briston Roberts of Brisbane, Australia, and Andrew Woodall of Mobile, Ala.
The house party included Lacey Peeples Calvert of Auburn, Ala., Ashley Henderson Gaskin of Gadsden and Rebecca Anne Hagedorn of New York, N.Y.
The parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Welder, gave the after-reheasal dinner at the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts in downtown Gadsden.
The wedding reception was held at Gadsden Country Club.
After a Mediterranean cruise, the couple is at home in Memphis.
