“We were extremely pleased with the huge turnout from our local real estate community. The Realtors are so important to our business and we strive to provide superior service to them and to our customers,” said Joy Akins, vice president and mortgage loan originator. “This was a good way to bring them into our bank and express our appreciation personally. This will be an annual event that we will all look forward to showing our true southern hospitality to our local Realtors.”
Door prizes of pink knockout roses were awarded to Rhonda McClure of Keller-Williams, Cindy Chase of Award Realty and Fran Bible of Bender Realty. The luncheon was catered by Impressions Catering.
With the support of the local realtors and the bank’s customer base, the mortgage loan department at Southern Heritage has become the largest mortgage provider in Bradley County. The mortgage team, led by Akins, includes Kristi Branham and Joe Womac, both loan originators, and Taylor Gobble, assistant vice president and loan underwriter. They are supported by Shelli Cody, senior loan processor, and Karen Walker, loan processor.
The mortgage team helps each customer choose the right financing for their particular situation, ensuring that they understand the entire process. They are experts in conventional loans, FHA, VA, THDA and USDA loans, as well as fixed-rate and adjustable-rate mortgages.
The mortgage loan department is located at the main office of Southern Heritage Bank at 3020 Keith St. For more information about Southern Heritage Bank, visit the website at www.southernheritagebank.com.
