Arch Chemicals Inc. recently presented a check for $1,000 to the Tennessee Scholars program of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce. These monies will be used to purchase medallions and incentives to reward students for taking more rigorous courses and fulfilling additional requirements of volunteer service and good attendance records. More than 1,100 students are currently enrolled in this workforce development program. Arch Chemicals has supported Tennessee Scholars since the program’s inception in 2005 as part of its contributions to the social and economic prosperity of the community. Janice Baker, center, Arch’s human resources supervisor, presented the check to Sherry Crye, coordinator of Tennessee Scholars, and Gary Farlow, Chamber of Commerce president.
