Cleveland Police Department officials arrested a 34-year-old man and charged him with aggravated use of 911 after he allegedly called dispatchers, stating “he wanted a compact disc back from his neighbor,” according to the arrest report.

Officer Tyler Pride charged Justin Christopher Presley of a 20th Street N.E. address after Presley reportedly called 911 and yelled at dispatchers.

“Dispatch advised that all they were getting (in terms of information) was Mr. Presley screaming his name and address into the phone,” noted Pride.

When Pride arrived on the scene, he located Presley sitting on a couch in the front yard.

Pride said he asked Presley what his emergency was and he stated he wanted the CD from his neighbor, according to the report. Pride also asked Presley if “that was the only reason he had contacted 911 and Presley reportedly answered ‘Yeah.’”

At that time, Presley was placed into custody and transported to the Bradley County Jail, where he was booked on the charge.

• A visitor at the Charleston Boat Dock was arrested and charged after he was found in possession of suspected marijuana.

Charleston Police Department officer Ben Clayton reported he made contact with Carl Gatlin, 28, who was walking at the dock. Gatlin reportedly had what appeared to be a hand-rolled cigarette behind his ear and stated “his friends had gave it to him earlier.”

Gatlin handed the cigarette to the officer who determined it to be suspected marijuana. Clayton asked Gatlin if the cigarette was tobacco and he reportedly answered “No,” and that “he had forgot he had it behind his ear.

Gatlin was taken to the Bradley County Jail and booked on simple possession of marijuana.
