She was a legal secretary for Varnell, Burns and Sharpe for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, where she served as parish secretary, was active in the R.C.I.A. program and was a frequent reader at mass.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mae Seaver Gleason.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Gladson of Cleveland; three sons and spouses: Greg and Maureen Beaton of Charlotte, N.C., Dennis and Merrill Beaton of Madison, Ala., and Darrel and Bonnie Beaton of San Antonio; and grandchildren: Shannon Powers, Chris Keith, Amanda Gladson, Cara Gladson, Brian Beaton, Erin Beaton, Michael Beaton, Jarrod Beaton, Jeremy Beaton, Joseph Beaton, Jake Beaton and Sawyer Beaton.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Fathers Joseph Brando, P.J. McGinnity and Peter Iorio officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, concluding with a white dove release ceremony.
Chris Keith, Brian Beaton, Michael Beaton, Jeremy Beaton, Jarrod Beaton and Joseph Beaton will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the mass.
