She was born to Wesley and Florence Beaver on Dec. 15, 1910, in Cherokee County, N.C.
She was saved and baptized at the early age of 13 and joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Farner.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Betty Harris; daughter, Beulah Hamilton; grandson, Jackie Ellis; brother, Ernest Beaver; and sister Mae Edington.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: Howard and Louise Harris, Luther and Bertha Harris, Benny and Vickey Harris, all of Tellico Plains, Norman and Carolyn Harris, of Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and J.B. Kirkland, Annis and Ronald Kirkland, of Tellico Plains, Margaret and Gary Bohannon, of Athens; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Ruby Lowe, of Cleveland;
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. today at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Tellico Plands with the Revs. Paul Fritts and Derrick Kirkland officiating.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Unicoi Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
