Six months ago, Cornerstone Family Church was birthed out of that vision.
Today, the congregation is welcoming several families regularly on Sunday and ministering in the community and on the mission field, according to Robert McCready.
Cornerstone Family Church will be moving to a new location beginning Sunday.
“As we began worshiping on Jan. 23, in the former Bradley Florist building, our initial prayer was that God would send us the generations to worship Him together. Even in our small congregation, God has answered that prayer,” McCready said.
As the seats have been filled in the current location, the church has been impressed “we can share the wonderful message of Jesus Christ with others who wish to worship together with their families,” he said.
The current lease on the facility ended in June.
“With the concerns for more seating and fellowship capacity, this past week God opened the door for us to move to 3800 Keith St. This is a prime location between White Wing Christian Bookstore and Chick-fil-A,” he said.
The new space is approximately triple the size of the current facility and will allow the congregation to create a phased plan for growth without having to move again in the near term.
Worship at the new location begins Sunday, 10:30 a.m.
