The 12th annual Freedom Celebration presented by His Hands Extended will be held at 10 a.m. at Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy.
The nondenominational HHE ministry will offer a program of patriotic music and music that “celebrates the religious freedoms” Americans enjoy. Featured singers will be Lee University’s Voices of Lee, mezzo-soprano Dr. Andrea Dismukes and musicians Jack Clark, Kevin Mendel and Mary Beth Woods.
Monday evening, the Mount Olive Ministries’ Freedom Celebration, sponsored by Larry Hill Ford, will be presented at approximately 9:30 at the Bradley Square Mall. There will also be opportunity to donate to the tornado relief efforts and to bring fans for the Salvation Army. Many of the mall stores will be offering sales also.
Also on Monday evening, the annual Highway 64 Fireworks presented by Howard Thompson will be offered at dark.
