James Noyle Webb, 71, of Farragut, passed away Saturday morning July 2, 2011, at his home with family by his side.

He was born in Glenmary.

He was a longtime employee of Pilot Oil Co.

He was a dearly beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed reading the Bible, watching sports, and he loved animals. He loved working with his hands and truly was a self-made man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Myrtle Huckeby Webb; sisters: Nola Henderson of Dalton, Ga., Louise Webb of Harriman and Beulah Williams; and brothers: Estell Webb of Chickamauga, Ga., and Jasper Webb of Deer Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Howard Webb; son, Larry Webb and wife, Sindee, of Knoxville; son, Tony L. Webb of Cleveland; daughter, Sheila Reuf and husband, Danny, of Cleveland; grandchildren: Dwayne Gamble of Chicago, Whitnee Webb of Nashville, Samantha Webb of Nashville and Spencer Webb of Cleveland; sisters: Belinda Webb and Margie Crum of Dalton; brother, Randall Keith Webb of Dalton; and sister-in-law, Brenda Webb.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Loudon Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
