She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. John Mull and Hazel Payne Mull; brother, Doyle Mull; and brother-in-law, Charles Donald Denton.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Paul Denton of Cleveland; sons: John David Denton and wife, Jeanna, of San Diego, Joseph Paul Denton and wife, Heather, of Farmington, Maine; five grandchildren: Jason Denton, Hillary Denton, Jaime Denton, David Denton and Danielle Sprouse; sister, Pearl Mull Goins of Cleveland; brothers: Arthur Mull of Tellico Plains and Wayne Mull and wife, Margie, of Cleveland; brother-in-law, James Austin Denton of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Wickes officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. David Goins, Tanner Goins , Kent Smith, Chantz Placek, Bud Mull and Bobby Smith will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
