Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is planning a Neighborhood Watch presentation for the Hopewell community.

According to Lt. Bob Hancock, the meeting will be held in the cafeteria at Hopewell Elementary School Tuesday.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The focus of the presentation is to inform and install a Neighborhood Watch program in the Davis Heights area of Hopewell.

Sheriff Jim Ruth, along with Hancock, will preside over the meeting and provide information as well as safety and security tips for residents.

- Cleveland Police detective Matt Jenkins is searching for a suspect involved in a burglary at a North Lee Highway business.

According to a report filed by officer Scott Criddle, Steve Myers said golf clubs and other golfing equipment, cash, a JVC electronic system and other items were taken.

Investigation revealed entry to the building was made through a rear window.

Crime scene technicians arrived on the scene and collected evidence from the burglary.

According to the report, loss was estimated at nearly $4,500.

Investigation is continuing.
