Evelyn Floyd-Bryant Clark, 65, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday evening, July 12, 2011, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Dora Mae Presley Floyd and Earnest Floyd. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: James “J.R.” Floyd, Earnest Thomas Floyd and Ted Floyd; and her sister, Juanita Hollingshead.

She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, B.J. “Betty Jo” Bryant; and son, Wesley Dewayne Bryant; grandson, Cory Tyrel Chamberlin; and granddaughters: Kadie LeaAnn Roe, all of Cleveland, Shay Rich and her husband, Daune, of Georgia; sisters: Callie Passwater and her husband, Jim, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; brothers: Donald Ray Floyd and his wife, Stella, Roy Lee Floyd and his wife, Marty, all of Cleveland; and all her nieces, nephews and cousins, who she dearly loved.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Darren Fansler officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tony Burkette, Tim Floyd, Nathan Floyd, Dakota Fansler, Chase Floyd and Anthony Floyd serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
