In just nine days, Bradley County has recorded three fatal vehicle crashes. Just before midnight Saturday, two people died when the vehicle they were traveling left Leadmine Valley Road and crashed into a wooded area.

Kristopher F. Blankenship, 28, and Justin R. Fowler, 20, were identified as the victims of the single-vehicle crash.

According to Bradley County Sheriff’s Office initial traffic investigation reports, the two were traveling in a 1995 Honda Civic which left the roadway, struck a tree and split into two pieces.

“Both men died at the scene of the crash and investigation is continuing by the Bradley County Traffic Unit,” said Bob Gault, media relations coordinator for BCSO.

Robert Greenfield Headrick, 78, of Georgetown died approximately 10 hours after a wreck last week while paramedics were en route to Erlanger Medical Center early Tuesday morning. He was initially treated at SkyRidge Medical Center.

That crash occurred near the intersection of Freewill Road and Georgetown Drive.

Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is in charge of the crash investigation.

Twenty-year-old Bradley County resident Lacey C. Allen died in a single-vehicle crash July 7 when her vehicle left the roadway on Interstate 75 near Exit 33, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Azbil who is in charge of the crash investigation.
