A Dockery Lane resident reported a burglary to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office during the weekend.

Deputy Casey Kerr esponded to 810 Dockery Lane and spoke with Amanda Moore.

Moore said she had not been staying at the residence during the past few weeks due to ongoing maintenance work.

When she went to check on the home, she discovered someone had forced entry to the house and taken a 52-inch Zenith television, a smaller TV, a DVD player, a mirror, a communications modem, a jewelry box and several pieces of jewelry. A two-person patio swing was also missing.

Detectives with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene to collect evidence. Footprints were located inside the home, according to the report.

Loss was estimated at $3,700.

Investigation is continuing.

- Deputy Kerr also responded to a Strawhill Road residence, where he filed a report for Patrick Blevins.

Blevins stated someone had taken his tandem 16-foot trailer from his property. The vehicle had been parked beside a barn.

Blevins believed the theft occurred Sunday while he was attending church.

Vehicle information was obtained and entered into the National Crime Information Center computer database.

- Deputy John Davis was called to a Sourwood Trail address, where he filed an aggravated burglary report for Angela Thornton.

Thornton said her family had been on vacation and returned Saturday to find the home had been burglarized.

A laptop computer, a television and an engagement ring were missing.
