Three days of fun for grades pre-K through fifth will be offered tonight, Saturday and Sunday.
Youngsters will learn about real Kids of Courage who stand for their faith in Jesus Christ in countries such as Egypt and China, a church spokesman said.
Children will learn how to be bold believers as they see how other bold believers around the world live, worship, and play. Each lesson teaches children how to pray for those who are risking everything for their faith, and how to become real Kids of Courage themselves, the spokesman noted.
The schedule of events include water games tonight, 6 to 9; Christian illusionist with lunch Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and hot dogs and inflatables on Sunday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families are welcome to attend.
In addition to special activities each night, children will hear Bible stories, listen to and sing music, play games, make crafts and share snacks!
The Kids of Courage VBS is offered by The Voice of the Martyrs Ministry – a nonprofit, interdenominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide.
