A benefit singing will be held for John “J.A.” Dennis, Saturday at Faith Memorial Church, at 5 p.m. Special singers will be The Seekers, Wings by Grace, Sacred Highway, Ware’s Duo and Just For Me.

A community day will be held at The Church of God of The Union Assembly, 3300 Dalton Pike, Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. There will be a yard sale, live music, concessions and children activities.

Woodmen Of The World Lodge No. 16, 199 Thompson Springs Road S.E., will have a breakfast at 9 a.m. and the meeting at 9:30 a.m., Saturday.
