Della Mae Stewart Cronan, 84, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 23, 2011, in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cronan; daughters, Carylon Ann Cronan and Alice Mae Cronan; son, James Felix Cronan; mother, Nola Cross Stewart; father, Roscoe Stewart; sisters, Alice Sherrell and Lucille Merrill; and brothers: Tom Stewart, Ralph Stewart, Harold Stewart and Ebb Stewart.

She was retired from Charleston Hosiery and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters: Joyce Brown and her husband, Joe, Betty Watson and her husband, Jimmy, all of Cleveland; sons: Paul Cronan and his wife, Patsy, of Benton and Billy Cronan and his wife, Carylon, of Cleveland; sister, Pauline Cronan of Cleveland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Benny Watson officiating.

Interment will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery with Jarrett Cronan, Joe Brown, Tyler Grady, Jimmy Watson, Randy Killian and Marvin Centers serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 this evening at funeral home.
