Emily Alexandria Gatlin of Cleveland and Andrew Geoffrey Halcomb of Clinton were united in marriage in an afternoon ceremony on June 9, 2011, in Clinton.

The bride is the daughter of Carl and Kaye Gatlin of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Etta White of Cleveland, the late Horace White, the late Carl F. Gatlin and the late Thelma Gatlin.

The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Jane Halcomb of Clinton. He is the grandson of Anne Halcomb of Clinton, the late Anderson Halcomb, the late Ray and Theda Cate and the late Mary Cate. He is the brother of Foster Halcomb of Charleston, S.C.

The wedding was officiated by Jerry Creasy. Nuptial music was provided by Colby Summers.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

The parents of the bridal couple held the reception at The Orangery in Knox.

After a wedding trip to Kiawah Island, S.C., Mr. and Mrs. Halcomb reside in Philadelphia, where the bride will attend the University of Pennsylvania and the bridegroom will work as a mechanical engineer.

Mrs. Halcomb is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in anthropology and evolutionary biology. She is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

Mr. Halcomb is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in mechanical engineering.
